About Fertilizer Division
This division has been trading fertilizers in Maharashtra in open market. MAIDC was appointed as a Nodal Agency for Buffer Stocking of Fertilizers and distribution to farmers, but this is discontinued in favour of DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer, which is Central Government's scheme.
